Overview:

We are seeking a Data Engineer (Power BI, Microsoft Fabric, Azure) to help transform data into reliable, actionable insights that power analytics and AI across our platforms.

In this role, you will design, build, and maintain robust ETL/ELT pipelines, develop optimized data models and datasets for Power BI, and ensure strong data governance, quality, and standards across environments. You will work closely with AI and ML teams to provide clean, well-structured data and contribute to feature preparation, while also analyzing production data to improve performance and reduce noise.

Collaborating with data, AI, testing, DevOps, and observability teams, you will play a key part in defining what data truly matters, strengthening data observability practices, and ensuring our Azure and Microsoft Fabric ecosystem supports scalable, high-quality analytics.

What will you do?

  • Design, build, and maintain ETL/ELT data pipelines for analytics and AI use cases.
  • Develop and optimize data models and datasets for Power BI.
  • Create and maintain data governance, quality, and standards.
  • Support ML teams with clean, structured data and feature preparation.
  • Analyze production data to reduce noise and improve system performance.
  • Contribute to data observability, defining what data is relevant to collect.
  • Collaborate across data, AI, testing, DevOps, and observability teams.

What are we looking for?

  • 3–5 years of experience in Data Engineering, Analytics Engineering, or similar roles.
  • Strong experience with Power BI and data modeling.
  • Solid understanding of ETL/ELT concepts and data pipelines.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services.
  • Proficiency in Python or another scripting language.
  • Strong SQL skills.
  • Experience working with production data.
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric.
  • Experience supporting AI / Machine Learning projects.
  • Familiarity with data observability practices or tools.
  • Azure or Power BI certifications.
  • Exposure to DevOps or CI/CD for data pipelines.
