Project Context

You will integrate into the client’s internal team (Canada, USA, Europe) and collaborate with global vendor teams. Your mission will be to provide technical support, code validation, and deployment expertise to ensure the success of this strategic data initiative.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and validate data engineering designs.

  • Perform code reviews and ensure technical quality.

  • Support deployment of solutions developed in collaboration with vendor teams.

  • Work closely with international teams across multiple time zones.

  • ETL / Integration: Informatica IICS

  • Data Transformation: DBT

Profile

  • Proven experience as a Data Engineer (mid-level or senior).

  • Strong expertise with AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, and Informatica IICS.

  • Experience in pharma / vaccines / sales / contracting / claims domains is an asset.

  • Comfortable working in EST hours with some flexibility for international collaboration.

Qualifications

  • Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

  • Experience: Minimum 4+ years in Data Engineering (mid-level) or 7+ years (senior).

  • Technical expertise:

    • Strong proficiency with AWS, Snowflake, DBT, Airflow, and Informatica IICS.

    • Solid experience in data pipeline design, code review, validation, and deployment.

  • Soft skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.

    • Ability to work in a multicultural, distributed team.

    • Excellent communication skills in English (French is a plus).

  • Nice to have:

    • Knowledge of pharmaceutical / vaccines / sales & contracting / claims data domains.

    • Previous experience in healthcare or regulated industries.
