OBJECTIVES
As an Amanotes’ data engineer you will be leveraging on hundreds terabytes of data from over 3+ billion users to create real business values through practical data solutions
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Build the Foundation: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable ETL/ELT pipelines and modern Data Lake/Warehouse architectures.
Drive Automation: Streamline and automate data workflows to improve data reliability and operational efficiency.
Prepare for the Future: Modernize and scale our data infrastructure to support advanced AI and machine learning initiatives.
Deliver Data Products: Collaborate closely with stakeholders and cross-functional teams to build impactful data-driven solutions, such as anomaly detection systems and A/B test analyzers.
QUALIFICATIONS
3-4+ years hands-on experience deploying production quality code
Core Stack: Strong proficiency in Python, SQL, Apache Airflow, and dbt.
Data Warehousing: Deep understanding of analytical Data Warehouses, with a strong preference for Google BigQuery.
Data Architecture: Solid grasp of data modeling methodologies (e.g., Kimball, Inmon).
Cloud & Infra: Hands-on experience with major cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and comfort navigating Linux environments and Git.
Reporting: Experience integrating with and preparing data for BI and visualization tools.
NICE TO HAVE
Real-Time Data: Experience with streaming ETL processes and tools (Kafka, Apache Spark, Google Pub/Sub).
DevOps/DataOps: Experience building CI/CD pipelines for data processes (GitLab, GitHub, Bitbucket).
Ecosystem Knowledge: A broad understanding of the modern data and artificial intelligence landscapes.
Business Acumen: A strong business mindset with the ability to connect technical data solutions to company goals.
Extended Tech: Experience with alternative orchestration tools (Dagster, Prefect) or frontend frameworks (JavaScript/ReactJS) for internal tooling.
