BSc / MSc in (Maintenance) Engineering

The objective of this thesis is to develop a systematic framework for the implementation of data-driven condition-based maintenance (CBM) within an industrial environment and to evaluate the performance of the CBM approach. The thesis will focus on identifying technical, organizational, and data-related challenges in CBM implementation and quantifying its impact on maintenance performance, such as availability, downtime, and maintenance costs.

Your tasks:

  • Literature review and framework development;

  • Data collection and analysis;

  • CBM implementation simulation;

  • Evaluation of implementation challenges and recommendations.

Who are you?

  • BSc / MSc in (Maintenance) Engineering;
