We are looking for a Data Architect to join our team within a leading company in the aviation industry. ✈️

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement data architecture and governance frameworks ensuring compliance with GDPR/KVKK and internal data policies.
• Conduct data discovery and classification across enterprise data sources to identify and manage sensitive information.
• Work closely with technical data owners and business teams to design efficient, secure, and scalable data processes.
• Manage and maintain data discovery tools (e.g., OpenText SDM) ensuring accurate data mapping and documentation.
• Define and monitor data quality, metadata, and lineage standards to support analytics and regulatory needs.
• Support the continuous improvement of data governance and architecture practices within the organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields (Master’s degree preferred).
• 5–8 years of experience in data architecture, data governance, and end-to-end data management processes, covering data discovery, metadata management, and GDPR/KVKK compliance.
• Proficiency in data discovery and governance tools such as OpenText SDM or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of data privacy principles, sensitive data handling, and enterprise data frameworks.
• Hands-on experience with data architecture, data modeling, and metadata management tools is required.
• Experience working with data platforms, databases, or data warehouses is highly preferred.
• Experience in collaborating with technical and business stakeholders to design and optimize data processes.
• Excellent English communication skills (both written and verbal).
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment (partly on-site and partly remote).
