Tasks & Responsibilities

This position will carry over the following activities as part of the Network Services team:

  • Technical design and implementation of security requests either through Agile or Waterfall methodologies to achieve the target on time, budget and expected quality;
  • Serve as a SPOC (Single Point of Contact) and third-level to our customers providing guidance and support in the process of fulfilling requests to assure SLAs are being achieved;
  • Operate and manage the change process according to Itil (Open the CHG tickets, write request of changes, participate in the change approval committees)
  • Act as an escalation point for resolution of complex security requests and operational issues as needed on a global scale;
  • Work closely with our customers providing recurring updates and management reports for security requests and day-to-day operations;
  • Assure compliance with customer standards and policy adherence when driving any networking activities;
  • Support transformation of emerging technologies (. SDN and Automation) and emerging solutions in the existing technology space (. Security, Internet, Network, etc.);
  • Manage the overall service delivery and ongoing operational management of security as well as the communication with the applications and other domain functions as needed on a global scale;
  • Work on the definition and proposal of security solutions and guidelines that will be applied to all client sites
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners, approvers and service owners;
  • Develop high-quality technical content, such as reference architectures, that can be used by our customers to assist them in requesting secure and compliant security solutions;
  • Assess security and controls knowledge across client architecture and develop plans to address gaps;

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree is required, and a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering is preferred.
  • Fluent in English; excellent oral and written communication skills required, including the ability to communicate and present across all management and organizational levels are required;
  • Technical knowledge and experience designing and deploying security infrastructures and services on a global basis to support office, manufacturing and distribution environments;
  • Knowledge and proven expertise in security technologies; Cisco ASA, Firepower and related security services;
  • Industry certifications such as ITILv3, CCSP and or CCIE or equivalent certifications for security technologies preferred;
  • Three plus years of experience in information security, risk, audit or compliance role deploying enterprise security solutions such as Cisco ASA and Firepower with a proven track record of success operating in a complex, ambiguous environment; preferably in global health care organization;
  • Familiarity and/or experience with multiple network and security technologies including global telecom transports, routing (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF), switching, capacity management, DNS, DHCP, MPLS, network security controls, network monitoring, and wireless.
  • Experience in the collection of security requirements and assessment of security solutions to manage large scale environments
  • Advanced Network Security and Firewall background  (Level 3 support)
  • Installation and migration experience with Cisco ASA Firewalls, Firepower (Firewall software), including malware and URL filtering configuration setups;
  • Experience in the installation of SFR Module on the Cisco ASA security appliance, the configuration of the Fire Power Software, registration and setup of SFR Module on the FireSIGHT Management Center;
  • Cisco ASA and Firepower administration, engineering, and hands-on support experience;
  • Experience in the definition of security architecture and guidelines and mapping security controls to meet specific regulatory obligations.
