In anticipation of a potential award focused on strengthening rural health systems through digital health strategies, MCD Global Health is soliciting applications from individuals who are interested and available for employment in early 2026. While the majority of these positions and work activities will be Maine-based, remote candidates will be considered in some instances. Relocation expenses to Maine will not be covered.

Salary offers may be higher or lower than the anticipated salary listed due to various factors including the successful candidates’ qualifications and geography within or outside of Maine.

Data and Evaluation Lead

Grade Level: 6 

Anticipated Salary: $74,000-$88,000

Reporting Relationship: Senior Grants Administrator

The preferred location for this position is Maine; candidates must be able to travel to the Hallowell, Maine, office several times a month.

The Data and Evaluation Lead will support measurement and learning for the proposed program. This role will communicate across the program team to ensure evaluation design appropriately captures needed information and is realistic for staff and partners to implement.  The Data and Evaluation Lead will support the Data and Evaluation team in collecting, cleaning, and analyzing quantitative and qualitative program data from multiple sources, prepare clear reports, dashboards, and visualizations that communicate progress toward key outcomes to program leadership, funders, and partners. This role will also help interpret findings and identify trends to inform program adjustments, continuous improvement, and future planning across digital health initiatives. 

Data & Evaluation:  

  • Support the Data and Evaluation team in managing program data across sources.  

  • Produce clear, actionable reports and dashboards that track progress toward key outcomes.  

  • Interpret findings to guide program decisions, adjustments, and continuous improvement.  

  • Provide insights that inform future planning and strategy for digital health initiatives.  

  • Serve as a bridge between data and decision-making, ensuring evidence drives program success.  

Team Work:  

  • Participate in relevant workgroups and/or committees  

  • Participate in MCD Global Health strategic planning as required. 

  • Lead by example, foster a sense of teamwork, inspire a sense of personal and professional accountability and promote positive morale that supports productivity and high quality of work for the individual team, the US Programs and MCD Global Health as a whole.  

  • Work to ensure that project activities and planning are directed toward the advancement of the US Programs and MCD Global Health as a whole.  

Business Development:  

  • Work with the US Programs Business Development team to assist in the development and submission of grant and contract requests to sustain and grow MCD activities pertaining to telehealth and other areas of interest, including both US Programs and international.  

  • Stay current in the field by participating in available trainings related to current grants and contracts, reading and reviewing relevant literature, and subscribing to relevant listserv(s) as appropriate. Strive to ensure that project implementation is responsive to the latest research and innovations and facilities growth in MCD Global Health's portfolio.  

  • Participate regularly in conferences and meetings to develop and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, clients, contractors, or government officials while keeping abreast of trends in the field.  

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:  

  • Master’s degree in Public Health, Statistics, Data Science, Health Informatics, or a related field.  

  • Training or certification in program evaluation, data analytics, or monitoring & evaluation (M&E) preferred.  

  • 5–7 years of experience in data analysis, program evaluation, or applied research.  

  • Proven track record working with quantitative and qualitative data from diverse sources.  

  • Experience developing dashboards, reports, and visualizations for leadership, funders, and external partners.  

  • Background in digital health initiatives or healthcare program evaluation is a strong asset.  

  • Supervisory experience is a strong asset.
