The Data & Analytics Manager will be responsible for leading KnowBe4’s data strategy, and building and managing a strong data team that leverages predictive analytics and advanced statistical techniques to drive strategic thought and effective decision making throughout the organization. This cross-company leadership role leads KnowBe4’s central data team. This team is responsible for both the data platform and providing analytical support to all areas of the business. This role is responsible for establishing both the technical direction as well as business goals for the data team. Through this roadmap, this role leads the effort to establish a unified source of data and analytics to support efficient business decision making.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and maintain data analytics processes and tools, ensuring alignment with the company's overall data strategy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
  • Manage and mentor a team of data analysts and engineers, fostering their professional development and ensuring high-quality output.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of data projects, including reporting, data quality, and adherence to data governance policies.
  • Contribute to the development of data infrastructure and analytical capabilities
  • Provide genuine recommendations as to the hiring, firing, promotion, and discipline of subordinate employees to which the Company gives significant weight

Skills:

  • Master’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or other quantitative discipline required 
  • A minimum of 5 years of proven working experience as a data analyst or business data analyst
  • Strategic & Cultural Skills
    • Extensive experience working with US companies, with a deep understanding of US corporate culture and communication standards.
    • Proven ability to act as a "boots on the ground" leader, capable of building and scaling local operations to grow the regional footprint.
    • Expertise in managing cross-border stakeholders and aligning Bangalore-based teams with global enterprise objectives.
  • Technical "Data Athlete" Skills
    • Hands-on experience across the full data lifecycle, including Data Engineering, Science, Governance, and Analytics.
    • Skilled in managing high-velocity technical sprints and ensuring the delivery of high-quality, scalable data solutions.
    • Strong commitment to implementing best practices and technical standards across all data products.
  • Management & Operations
    • Experience recruiting, training, and developing high-performing technical teams in the Bangalore market.
    • Proficient in resource allocation, capacity planning, and workload balancing in a fast-paced environment.
