Data & Analytics Analyst

SPACE is a graduate programme designed for students who we will train in Microsoft technologies. The technologies utilized within the programme include Power BI, T-SQL, Microsoft SQL Databases, Azure Cloud. Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, and more. The educational programme spans 4 months with specialized modules dedicated to the tools and technologies relevant to Data & Analytics and it will be held every working day in the Hitachi Solutions Bulgaria’s office. Upon completion, you'll shadow projects and gradually transition to working independently, nurturing your expertise in data-driven solutions.  

Important dates: 

Through a structured on-boarding and training programme, starting in July, Hitachi Solutions Bulgaria SPACE Programme will prepare successful candidates for roles on Hitachi Solutions Europe`s major projects for international clients. These project roles will allow for fast-paced learning via hands-on experience and the opportunity to work with the best consultants and some of the biggest Microsoft technology projects.

• Start of the programme 14th of July (Monday)

• Degree or in process of obtaining one (must have already completed their 3rd or 4th year) in Data Science, Analytics, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics 
• Knowledge of data systems and SQL (Preference) 
• Knowledge of BI tools e.g. Power BI, Tableau (Desirable) 
• Knowledge of programming languages e.g. C#, Python, DAX/M, R (Desirable) 
• Fluency in English  
• Good communication and interpersonal skills  
• Good problem solving and analytical skills 
• Good organisational skills 
• A strong sense of responsibility 
• Ability to work independently and well within a team

Key Responsibilities 

• A Data & Analytics Analyst is responsible for assisting the capturing and detailing business processes and needs from our clients, through workshops, meetings, and documentation. 
• On a daily basis, you will be working closely with the team in developing data analytics solutions to assist effective operational, tactical and strategic decision making. 
• As part of this role you will be expected to: 
• Develop data solutions in Azure (using technologies such as Synapse Analytics, Fabric) to ingest various sources into a unified data platform. 
• Work with Data Engineers to transform data ready for serving in reports. 
• Develop and deliver PowerBI reports to a wide range of clients.
