In 2020, Uken released Ava’s Manor, a solitaire game where users renovate and decorate the manor while discovering mysterious clues and dabbling in a romantic love story. Uken is looking for a passionate Data Analyst to join our analytics team. You will be deeply involved in our game design process, helping to grow existing games and launching new ones by using data to build actionable insights into what features drive engagement. You will team up with data experts across the organization to make sure our data is working for us, and produce advanced data analyses from scratch. Your success will help us identify, develop, and prove features that delight our customers, and make our games exciting and fun to play.

As a Ukenite, you'll be working on meaningful things like: 

• Asking and answering questions through exploratory data analyses and ad-hoc reporting that drives engagement, retention and monetization
• Building data visualizations to tell a story about our users
• Developing new metrics and player cohorts to unlock insights into player behaviour
• Continuous improvement of our A/B test analysis process through new tooling and automation
• Deep diving into user behaviour to unlock value for the organization
• Collaborating with data engineers and developers to ensure game data enables impactful analysis

You should have:

• 1+ years experience writing complex queries in SQL
• 1+ years experience manipulating data in Python (we use Pandas and MatPlotLib)
• Experience creating, working with, and debugging complicated data structures
• The ability to collaborate, communicate, and present information to technical and non-technical audiences alike
• An appetite to learn, grow, and challenge everything

It'd be a big plus if you have:

• Previous experience at a startup or mobile game/app company
• A university or college degree in computer science, software engineering, or other related field
• Experience working on a cross-functional team with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and/or Data Engineers
