ABOUT THE ROLE

Are you passionate about product analytics and data-driven insights? We're seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Data Analyst here at Sofascore. As a key player in our team, you'll leverage your expertise in product analytics, coupled with advanced analytical skills, to uncover valuable insights and drive data-driven strategies that shape and enhance our mobile app's user experience and performance.

Your tasks and responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve data analysis systems and predictive models
• Implement and optimize queries for product analysis
• Create multi-platform solutions for data presentation, including charts, dashboards, and descriptive reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure unified development and improvement across platforms
• Take ownership of tasks, mentor junior colleagues, and familiarize yourself with systems and processes across departments

What you bring to the team

• Master's degree in a technical or related field
• 3+ years of experience in the same or similar roles
• Proficiency in writing SQL code for production, emphasizing testing, clarity, and consideration of edge cases
• Strong skills in systematic issue resolution, visual interpretation, and testing procedures
• Familiarity with statistical modeling techniques, and presentation skills for technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to create custom visualizations and dashboards using data visualization tools
• Code design aligned with team architecture, A/B testing setup, and advanced SQL optimization
• Strong analytical mindset, curiosity to uncover insights, and creativity to connect seemingly unrelated data points
• Strong business acumen and problem-solving skills to drive impactful, data-driven solutions

What sets you apart

• Background in product analytics or a strong desire to focus on product strategy and user experience
• Prior knowledge in Git, Python scripting, Bash, and experience in ClickHouse
