Role Purpose:
The Data Analyst (MIS) plays a critical role in supporting enterprise-wide reporting, data analysis, and dashboard development across the Company.
The role enables management decision-making by analyzing data, preparing accurate reports, designing dashboards, and delivering actionable insights, while contributing to the continuous improvement of reporting and MIS processes.
The Data Analyst will work closely with the MIS function to support the transition from manual, spreadsheet-based reporting to automated dashboards and AI-enabled analytics, while continuing to deliver high-quality reports for all departments.
Requirements:
- Education: bachelor's degree in business, finance, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.

Responsibilities:
1. Dashboard Development & BI Delivery
- Design, build, and maintain MIS Dashboard, executive and departmental dashboards (financial, operational, CX, OA, PM).
- Translate business KPIs into clear, visual, and actionable dashboards.
- Ensure dashboards are automated, refreshed on time, and aligned with MIS standards.
- Maintain consistency in dashboard structure, visuals, and definitions across the organization.
2. Data Analysis & KPI Management
- Analyze large datasets from multiple systems
- Validate KPI definitions, formulas, thresholds, and reporting logic in line preparing the MIS Data Dictionary.
- Perform data reconciliation, trend analysis, and variance analysis.
- Identify performance gaps, anomalies, and red flags, and communicate insights clearly to management.
3. Systems, Tools & AI Enablement
- Maintain and work with a wide range of data-related business processes and systems.
- Enter, manage, and validate data in existing databases and reporting tools.
- Support the creation of new processes to improve data capture, storage, and reporting accuracy.
- Work with data structures and metadata to ensure consistency, accessibility, and security.
- Maintain databases and perform updates to ensure ongoing data accuracy.
- Work confidently with reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics platforms (e.g. Yellowfin or similar BI tools).
- Collaborate with AI Tools Specialist to leverage AI-powered reporting, automation, and anomaly detection.
- Support the transition from manual reports to automated dashboards.
- Understand system integrations, data flows, and basic API concepts (no coding required, but strong technical understanding is essential).
4. Enterprise Reporting & Business Support
- Manage enterprise-wide reporting processes, ensuring accurate capture, storage, and maintenance of critical business data.
- Prepare regular and ad-hoc business reports that provide insight into key KPIs and business trends.
- Review reports regularly to identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies.
- Analyze and interpret data with sound judgment to ensure reports are accurate, timely, and decision-ready.
- Communicate analytical findings clearly to managers and executives through written and verbal presentations.
- Support departments across the Company by delivering analysis aligned with their objectives.
- Collaborate with managers and executives to gather reporting requirements and define reporting specifications.
5. Data Quality & Integrity
- Regularly review reports and dashboards to identify and resolve data issues.
- Perform reconciliations and validation checks across systems.
- Support data integrity initiatives in coordination with MIS and system owners.
- Escalate recurring data quality issues and contribute to root-cause analysis.
6. Business Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
- Work across business lines, engaging with managers and executives to gather reporting requirements.
- Design and improve business analysis and data recording systems used across the Company.
- Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and reduce manual effort.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within reporting and MIS processes.
Technical & Professional Skills
- Strong proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets.
- Experience with BI tools, dashboards, or reporting platforms (e.g., Yellowfin or similar).
- Strong understanding of KPIs, metrics, and reporting logic.
- Comfortable working with software systems, reporting tools, and multiple data sources.
- Exposure to AI-enabled reporting, automation, or analytics tools is a strong advantage.
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools.
