Data Analyst (Power BI)

Job Summary:
Design, migrate, and optimize enterprise-grade BI solutions using Power BI, enabling scalable self-service analytics and delivering business-ready insights through well-governed, high-performance dashboards and reports.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Lead the migration of dashboards, reports, and visualizations to Power BI
Translate existing workflows into optimized Power BI reports aligned with enterprise data standards
Develop reusable data models and semantic layers to support self-service analytics
Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure reliable and high-quality data sources
Optimize report performance, governance, and usability for global stakeholders
Partner with business teams to onboard and train users in the Power BI ecosystem
Contribute to BI best practices, documentation, and standardization initiatives

Qualifications and Skills:
3–5 years of experience in BI and reporting development
Advanced expertise in Power BI including DAX, Power Query, data modeling, and performance optimization
Hands-on experience with ThoughtSpot for dashboard creation and search-driven analytics
Strong SQL skills with experience querying Snowflake and/or Azure Databricks
Proficiency in data visualization best practices and data storytelling
Solid understanding of BI governance, security, and role-based access controls
Experience working in Agile environments with sprint planning and iterative delivery
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytics into business insights

Role-specific Requirements:
Experience administering Power BI Service including workspaces, security, and governance
Exposure to Power BI APIs and deployment pipelines (CI/CD) in enterprise BI environments
Ability to collaborate cross-functionally with engineering and business stakeholders
