Let's start with the role

We are seeking an exceptional Data Analyst to join our dynamic and fast-growing BI & Analytics team at Kaizen Gaming. As we continue our exciting scale-up journey, you will play a crucial role in supporting business growth across multiple departments. Operating within a hub-and-spoke model, you will act as a key bridge between the Data and Business teams, contributing to complex analyses, delivering actionable insights, and supporting strategic initiatives that drive business expansion.

As a Data Analyst, you will:

Collaborate with business teams to understand their needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
Develop an excellent understanding of the business processes and identify opportunities to generate actionable insights.
Establish KPIs to measure the effectiveness of business decisions.
Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and consistency of data used in analysis and reporting.
Proactively provide data analytics and insights to the function, acting as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) with minimal supervision
Communicate insights and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders to support informed decision-making.
Collaborate with the rest of the Data tribe to ensure alignment in data visualization, analysis and optimize the flow of information across teams.
Advocate for a data-driven culture, promoting the value of data across the organization.

What you’ll bring:

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or a related field).
At least 2 years experience in data analysis and reporting.
Strong SQL skills and Google Workspace (Gsuite) experience.
Relevant experience with Microsoft Power BI (or other dashboarding tool, such as Tableau) will be considered a plus.
Experience in Data Manipulation and Data Analysis using Python/Spark will be considered a plus.
Experience working with Databricks and Genie /AgentBricks will be considered a plus.
Experience with Data Build Tools (dbt) will be considered as a plus.
Experience managing stakeholders at various levels.
Strong analytical mindset, with strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively while aligning with business goals.
Strong data storytelling skills, with the ability to translate technical insights for non-technical audiences.
Ability to prioritize, meet deadlines and identify opportunities with limited supervision.
High-drive, proactive, can-do attitude, and adaptability to changing business demands.
Working experience in the betting industry is a strong plus.
Fluency in English.
