We’re looking for a proactive and impact-driven Data Analyst to join our dynamic data team composed of Data Engineers, Analysts, Scientists, Digital Specialists and Product Owners.
As part of our mission to unlock smarter data decision-making and tailored user experiences, you will collaborate with experts across data, engineering, product, and marketing to maintain strong data quality standards and deliver trustworthy insights through reporting and analysis.
NOTE: This is a 15-month contract position (a maternity leave replacement), with the possibility of extension to a permanent contract.
Specifically you will:
Work proactively and reactively with various teams at Automotive (including domain, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and monetization) to develop new metrics, to conduct exploratory data analysis, uncovering patterns and trends for hypothesis validation and assisting stakeholders in making data-driven decisions
Collaborate with Data and ML engineers to facilitate data-driven decision-making, identify trends, patterns, and anomalies within datasets and share actionable insights
Create dashboards and visualizations using Tableau and other appropriate tools to clearly communicate insights to stakeholders
Establish clear processes and standards to ensure requests are handled promptly and thoroughly; automate repetitive tasks and reports to enhance efficiency, reliability, and scalability
Assist both technical and non-technical decision-makers in understanding the impact and context of data-driven insights
Maintain thorough documentation on data analysis of data sources, methodologies, assumptions, and analyses to ensure transparency and reproducibility
Remain current with industry best practices and emerging technologies in data analytics, actively sharing analytical knowledge through training, workshops, or documentation to empower stakeholders with self-service data insights
Most importantly you will help build the Automotive data platform of the future and together with us you will be proud on what we deliver to the business
What will you bring to the ride?
Bachelor’s degree in analytics, engineering, management information systems or equivalent
Have 3+ years of hands-on experience working with stakeholders and analytics platforms/BI tools (Tableau preferred)
Solid proficiency in SQL with great analytical skills to support robust data analyzing
Understanding how data pipelines are built using dbt, Cloud Functions, Kafka streams etc.
Basic knowledge of DevOps best practices and automation of documentation, testing, build, deployment, configuration and monitoring
A history of best practices from your past roles as a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence Developer
Ability to work independently and in decentralised teams, we work in Data Mesh so knowledge about it is an advantage
