Our client is a leading international media and digital content platform with a strong footprint across Asia and an expanding presence in the Middle East.
The company operates large-scale content ecosystems including long-form content, short-form video, and subscription-based products, and is actively strengthening its data-driven decision-making capabilities to support regional growth.
This role will focus on content performance, user behavior, and commercialization analytics, working closely with content, product, and growth teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build a quantifiable, real-time, and accurate data framework, including unified core metrics, data definitions, and monitoring mechanisms.
- Design and maintain core dashboards and daily/weekly reports covering content performance, conversion funnels, retention/churn, and monetization metrics.
- Conduct in-depth analysis on key content, projects, and campaigns (e.g., major shows, short-form content, or regional initiatives), providing performance evaluation, issue diagnosis, and optimization recommendations.
- Develop user profiling and segmentation models, establishing tagging systems, audience clusters, and preference insights to support content, product, and operations strategies.
- Identify critical churn and drop-off points across the user journey, drive cross-functional improvement initiatives, and track post-optimization results.
Requirements:
- Experience in data analysis or data operations, preferably within content platforms, internet products, or growth-oriented environments.
- Strong proficiency in SQL; hands-on experience with BI tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
- Python experience is a plus.
- Clear logical thinking with the ability to articulate a full loop of problem → metrics → insights → actions → review.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, able to collaborate effectively with product, content, and operations teams.
- English as a working language is required.
- Familiarity with Middle Eastern users or Arabic language skills is a strong plus.
