About Sprinter Health:
At Sprinter Health, our mission is reimagining how people access care by bringing it directly to their homes. Nearly 30% of patients in the U.S. skip preventive or chronic care simply because they can’t get to a doctor’s office. For many, the ER becomes their first touchpoint with the healthcare system—driving over $300B in avoidable costs every year.
By using the same technologies that power leading marketplace and last-mile platforms, we deliver care where people are, especially those who need it most. So far, we’ve supported more than 2 million patients across 22 states, completed 130,000+ in-home visits, and maintained a 92 NPS. Our team of clinicians, technologists, and operators are backed by investors like a16z, General Catalyst, GV, and Accel.
About The Role
You’ll design and maintain the systems that translate patient engagement data into structured, partner-trusted billing outputs. This includes ingesting data from internal and external clinical sources, applying billing logic in a codified, auditable way, and producing files that meet downstream requirements with consistency.
You’ll sit within the Finance team and work cross-functionally with Sales, Engineering, and Product to ensure billing runs reliably and scales cleanly as the business grows. The right candidate brings technical fluency, systems thinking, and a builder mindset focused on clarity and repeatability.
Office Location:
We are a hybrid company based in the Bay Area with offices in both San Francisco & Menlo Park. We care about work-life balance, and understand that there will be times where flexibility is needed.
What you will do
Reconcile patient engagement data across internal and external clinical sources (e.g., EHR and labs data) on a monthly basis
Codify billing logic in SQL (BigQuery) and develop transformation workflows that are auditable and scalable
Use Python or Google Sheets scripting to clean inputs and automate recurring tasks
Generate structured, version-controlled invoice files that are partner-trusted and accurate
Identify data mismatches, gaps, or edge cases — and implement long-term fixes
Document workflows to ensure clarity, continuity, and cross-team alignment
Collaborate across Finance, Sales, Engineering, and Product to improve upstream inputs and process design
What you have done
Bachelor’s degree in Health Informatics, Data Science, Business, Information Systems or a related field
3-5 years of experience in data operations, analytics, or financial systems
Advanced working knowledge of SQL and ability to manage complex logic in Excel/Google Sheets
Comfortable writing or modifying Python scripts for data cleanup and file generation
Technically curious with a structured, systems-first approach to problem-solving
