Data Analyst

TLDR

Analyze and manage material needs, monitor stock levels, and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory and forecast requirements.

Analyze and plan material needs to maintain optimal inventory levels.
Monitor reorder points to ensure timely stock replenishment.
Daily review to release PR/PO.
Work with GPD and Sales to identify risks related to material changes and address inventory reserves.
Plan and manage material movement in coordination with purchasing, warehousing, and production, including negotiating lead times with suppliers to ensure timely deliveries, ETA update for PD confirmation.
Working with Sales/Finance to analyze forecast abnormalities.
Cooperating with material planner in other AD sites (and global supply chain team) to share/buying excess stock.
Provide information to determine status of current orders and to forecast needs.

Bachelor's degree. 1-3 years in material planning or related experience.
Excellent analytical, mathematical, organizational, verbal and written communication skills and detail-oriented.
Ability to interface with cross-functional groups to define and execute overall requirements.
Ability to conduct research, prepare comprehensive reports and present complex statistical information in a clear and succinct fashion.
Ability to work well with all levels of management and employees.
General Materials Management, and Logistics knowledge.
Familiarity in process documentation and improvement.
Understanding of applicable computer systems, such as Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes and function specific software.
