For more information, visit arcadia.io Why this role is important to Arcadia The Data Analyst will join the Analytics team of a high-growth Population Health and Analytics data platform company. This role reports to the Director, Analytics, and will involve data analysis and building analytical dashboards within a highly collaborative team environment.  The ideal candidate loves data and wants to make a difference.  We are seeking individuals who rely on data analysis to make decisions and are passionate about improving the way healthcare is delivered to millions of patients across the country. You should be eager to learn about population health, help Arcadia’s customers unlock more value from their data, and eventually take ownership of their own analyses and dashboards. What Success Looks Like In 3 months - Gain familiarity with Arcadia’s data model and core population health concepts and begin building Vista dashboards and scorecards in AWS QuickSight In 6 months - Collaborate with Analytics, Product, and a large payer client in designing novel analytics dashboards, and present your work internally and externally In 12 months - Complete a suite of new analytics dashboards designed to support payer use cases in utilization, cost of care, quality, and risk. Proactively identify areas where you can add value to the team and our analytics reporting What You'll Be Doing
  • Learning population health and developing transferable skills in both analyzing and presenting data
  • Creating value for Arcadia’s customers, particularly a large payer client, through dashboard building and deep-dive analysis
  • Preparing, analyzing, and visualizing tens of millions of records of healthcare data
  • Supporting our customers’ success in value-based care as well as internal Arcadia teams
  • Balancing and delivering on multiple B.I. reporting projects, primarily through our analytic dashboard product, Arcadia Vista
  • Collaborating with talented colleagues both within the Analytics team and with other Arcadia teams like Product, Customer Insights, Growth Team, and Implementation

  • What You'll Bring
  • 1-2 years' experience in a customer-facing business intelligence role that combined data analysis, visualization, and presentation
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM or quantitative field
  • Ability to query and manipulate relational databases with SQL
  • Experience with a business intelligence dashboarding tool such as QuickSight, Tableau, or Power BI
  • Curiosity, an eagerness to learn, and a creative approach to problem solving
  • A keen eye for detail and a desire to continually improve your work product and processes
  • Would Love For You To Have
  • A passion for communicating data through clear and compelling visual design
  • Experience analyzing healthcare data (value-based care experience a plus)
  • Experience with the AWS platform, especially QuickSight and Redshift
  • Advanced SQL skills or data visualization expertise
  • Experience using collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence
  • Experience using AI tools to create better analytics deliverables and more efficient processes
