Data Analyst

OCT Consulting is a business management and technology consulting firm that provides support to Federal Government clients. We provide consulting services in the areas of Strategy, Process Improvement, Change Management, Program and Project Management, Acquisition/Procurement, and Information Technology.

Responsibilities and Duties

OCT currently has an opening for a Data Analyst to work with our federal client in Washington, DC. This position is contingent upon contract award.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

• Recording, gathering, and analyzing information from multiple sources to ensure data quality for reporting and accountability.
• Using systems including PRISM, FPDS-NG, OPTIC, and ECFS to support data needs.
• Developing and maintaining complex MS Excel spreadsheets and tracking tools to monitor productivity and meet contractual deadlines.
• Generating leadership reports, high-impact charts, and performance dashboards to improve portfolio oversight.
• Managing enterprise mail groups and granting/removing access to channels in programs such as Microsoft Teams.

Requirements

• Citizenship: Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree required. 
• Experience: At least five (5) years of documented experience in Data Management or Data Analyst positions.
• In lieu of a degree: 12 years of total experience in the data management sector.
• Technical Skills: Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically crafting and running Excel scripts and codes to validate data accuracy.
• Clearance Requirements: Public Trust.
• Location: 100% On-site in Washington, DC.

Salary Range: $115,000- $145,000 yearly, commensurate with experience, education, etc.
