Position Overview:    
Commdex is seeking a DAS Technician II will oversee all aspects of installing active and passive DAS solutions for both indoor and outdoor coverage systems


As a DAS Technician II you will be tasked with…
Key Responsibilities:    
•    Oversee installation and quality control of DAS systems
•    Conduct bid walks and prepare bid documentation
•    Provide weekly customer status updates
•    Work with wireless carriers, integrators, and end customers
•    Manage commissioning, acceptance testing, and troubleshooting
•    Provide redlines and closeout documentation
•    Experience managing union manpower is a plus


Required Skills & Experience:    
•    Proven construction management experience with in building DAS
•    Strong understanding of RF propagation and RF principles
•    Familiarity with PIM testing, cable sweeps, CW testing
•    Experience with fiber testing and related equipment
•    Knowledge of NFPA 2013, IFC 510, R56, and carrier guidelines (AT&T, VZW, etc.)
•    Valid driver’s license and ability to travel (30–50%)


Education:    
•    Minimum 5 years of DAS Construction Management experience
•    Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management is a plus


Communication Skills:    
•    Ability to read and interpret technical documents, regulatory guidelines, and construction drawings
•    Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting, client updates, and internal 

      documentation
