The Role

As Damage & Insurance Officer, you play a key role in protecting the value of our fleet and ensuring correct financial recovery of damages.

You manage damage cases from A to Z: from initial report to expertise follow-up, insurance handling and final charge processing. Your work has a direct impact on operational performance, customer fairness and revenue recovery.

You will report to the Damage & Insurance Lead and work closely with Aftersales, Daily Operations and external partners (garages, experts, insurers).

Responsibilities

  • Manage and follow up damage cases end-to-end

  • Coordinate with users, garages, experts and insurance companies

  • Follow up insurance claims and ensure complete documentation

  • Review expertise reports and verify cost assessments

  • Prepare and process damage charges in line with internal policies and T&Cs

  • Ensure timely and professional communication with users

  • Monitor recovery timelines and escalate when needed

  • Support continuous improvement of damage processes

Requirements

  • Experience in damage handling, insurance follow-up or automotive expertise is a strong plus

  • Background in automotive, insurance or claims management is an asset

  • Professional proficiency in Dutch, French and English

  • Strong administrative accuracy and attention to detail

  • Comfortable working with digital tools (Excel, Google Sheets, internal systems)

  • Structured, proactive and solution-oriented

  • Able to balance customer fairness with financial discipline
