D365 Finance & Operations Technical Consultant

Location: Ho Chi Minh City / Hanoi - Vietnam

Contract term: 6–9 months (with potential for extension)

About The Role

We’re looking for a high-calibre Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) Technical Consultant to join our Tyme X team on a 6–9 month contract. You’ll be part of a growing internal team responsible for enhancing and supporting our D365 ecosystem. The ideal candidate combines strong technical development expertise with solid functional finance knowledge, helping to migrate, optimize, and scale our D365 F&O platform.

What You’ll Do

·        Design, configure, develop, and deploy scalable D365 F&O solutions across multiple entities.

·        Support end-to-end implementation — from requirements and design to development, testing, and go-live.

·        Leverage Out-of-the-Box (OOB) features while designing or customizing solutions for identified gaps.

·        Work with finance and operations business teams from different regions in South East Asia and South Africa to migrate entities from legacy systems and onboard new entities.

·        Create and maintain data models, ensuring seamless integration with the Microsoft Common Data Service (CDS).

·        Build integrations using REST APIs, Web Services, and Data Entities.

·        Develop finance reports and dashboards using Power BI, SSRS, and FetchXML.

·        Be familiar with co-pilot capabilities and build AI models.

·        Participate in solution design, code reviews, and deployment planning.

·        Troubleshoot and resolve complex system or application issues.

Requirements

·        5+ years hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 F&O or AX implementations.

·        Strong knowledge of Finance modules: GL, AP, AR, Budgeting, and Financial Reporting.

·        Proven expertise in X++, .NET/C#, and SQL Server.

·        Deep understanding of D365 architecture, data model, and Data Management Framework (DMF).

·        Experience integrating with other enterprise systems.

·        Solid grounding in accounting principles and financial processes.

·        Excellent communication and documentation skills (English/Vietnamese).

·        Microsoft Certifications (e.g., D365 F&O Apps Developer, AX/D365 Functional/Technical) are highly advantageous.

Bonus Points For

·        Prior experience with multi-entity or global rollouts.

·        Exposure to financial services or fintech environments.

·        Familiarity with IFRS and regulatory reporting.
