Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with IT teams to implement security improvements and remediate vulnerabilities.
  • Stay updated on emerging security threats, trends, and best practices in the cybersecurity landscape.
  • Assist in the development and delivery of security awareness training for employees.
  • Participate in security audits and compliance assessments to ensure adherence to policies and regulations.
  • Utilize security tools and technologies to monitor networks and systems for anomalies and breaches.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in a cybersecurity analyst role with a strong understanding of security concepts and practices.
  • Familiarity with security tools for threat detection, vulnerability management, and incident response.
  • Knowledge of security frameworks and compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess complex security issues and formulate effective strategies.
  • Experience with incident response processes and procedures.
  • Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or CISSP are preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to articulate security issues to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
