Cybersecurity Sales Executive
BPM is seeking a driven Cybersecurity Sales Executive to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll partner with CISOs, CIOs, IT Managers/Directors, and executive leadership across enterprise and mid-market clients to deliver tailored cybersecurity solutions, including advisory services, technical security assessments, and industry-specific compliance audits.

What You'll Do
Build and nurture relationships with CIOs, CSOs, CISOs, Security Engineers, internal audit, and procurement to understand their business goals and objectives in order to propose tailored BPM services
Develop new-logo business through personal lead generation, social selling, and company-supported programs while growing existing BPM client relationships
Position BPM’s cybersecurity consulting, compliance support, and managed IT services, including red teaming, ISO 27001 advisory, NIST security program development, penetration testing, threat detection, risk assessments, third-party risk management, and fractional CISO advisory
Technical pre-sales engineering; collaborate with project management and delivery teams to scope, design, and propose client-specific technical solutions
Write proposal content and custom verbiage to convey a compelling set of BPM services
Engage in self-study and independent work to increase job-related knowledge and skills
Capability to present and discuss BPM solutions effectively in both virtual and in-person meetings
Understand and record client cybersecurity requirements, propose technical solutions, and oversee the selection of services
Identify market trends, competitor activity, and client needs to inform strategic sales approaches and thought leadership
Maintain consistent sales activity, pipeline management, and quarterly business development plans to achieve revenue targets
Collaborate with BPM’s marketing team to identify growth opportunities and increase inbound lead generation
Represent BPM at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to build awareness and credibility
Track opportunities, maintain CRM records, and report on progress toward sales and revenue goals
Draft proposals in response to prospect RFPs
Who You Are
Successful in sourcing new client logos with a proven track record in a quota-carrying role, meeting revenue targets in Cybersecurity or Governance, Risk & Compliance Professional Services, or SaaS solutions
Can proactively identify tasks that require follow-up, initiate necessary actions, and drive efficient workflow
Confident, entrepreneurial, and results-driven
Experienced in cybersecurity sales, with the ability to effectively engage C-level executives across enterprise and mid-market clients
Analytical and strategic, able to navigate a long sale cycle and complex buying processes, crafting solutions that meet both technical and business needs
Collaborative, able to work cross-functionally and foster strong internal and client relationships
Resilient, self-motivated, and persistent in the face of challenges
Can effectively coordinate multiple projects, seek input where appropriate, and leverage organizational tools and methods
Able to develop comprehensive documentation, implement best practices, and ensure business processes support sales goals
Strong proficiency with CRM tools and sales enablement technologies such as Salesforce, Outreach.io, Linked-In Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
Qualifications
5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or technology consulting sales, with direct account management responsibility
5+ years of experience in business development, prospecting, success bringing in new logos and meeting large quotas
3+ years in a technical cybersecurity or GRC role preferred
Familiarity with security compliance and audit frameworks such as NIST, CMMC, SOC, ISO, PCI, and HITRUST
Outstanding attention to detail
Proven track record of achieving sales targets and quota attainment
Experience selling security consulting and managed services
Knowledge of cybersecurity market trends, services, and technologies
Excellent presentation, negotiation, and communication skills
Advanced certification in one or more of the following preferred: CISA, CISSP, GIAC, CISM, CCSP, CCNP Security, CCIE Security
Ability to travel up to 30% for industry conferences, client meetings, or to BPM offices
