Cybersecurity Manager

That creates opportunities, but it also means we need to stay sharp on security. As our Cybersecurity Manager, you’ll help us get the balance right - keeping things safe, without slowing us down.

We’re looking for a Cybersecurity Manager to own the way we think about, manage, and improve security across the business, from our cloud environments through to our physical workplaces. You won’t implement every control yourself, but you’ll make sure the right things are in place, the right risks are understood, and the business knows where it stands.

What you’ll do:

You’ll own our security strategy, roadmap, and reporting, giving the business a clear view of our security position, priorities, and what “good” looks like in practice - and making sure we consistently meet that standard

• Partner closely with engineering, cloud, and other teams across the business, providing clear, practical guidance
• Strengthen our security position, achieving clear, measurable improvements in detection, coverage, and resilience
• Keep and share a clear view of security risk across the business, ensuring the right things are prioritised and resolved
• Ensure incidents are handled well, with clear follow-through and continuous improvement
• Improve security awareness across the business, reducing avoidable incidents through clear guidance
• Maintain continuous audit readiness, delivering strong outcomes across SOC2 and GDPR
• Drive and support best practice across the business, including around the use of new tools like AI

What we're looking for:

• Solid experience owning security in a cloud environment
• A practical understanding of frameworks like SOC2 and GDPR
• Good judgement and pragmatism
• The ability to influence without formal authority
• Clear communication, especially when translating complex risks into actions
• Strong awareness of emerging technologies, including AI, and the ability to assess associated risks
• A positive, collaborative approach and a passion for technology
