We are looking for new teammates to join our US Cybersecurity capability, which is one part of the larger Cybersecurity Global Practice, an independent and an in-house team of 700+ people working seamlessly across the globe (New York, London and Paris). We have developed a 360° expertise from strategies, Operating Models, Executive-level support to benchmark Cybersecurity Maturity and enhance their cyber risks & threats preparedness with a focus on major transformation programs, and more.

At the crossroads of management and digital consulting, you will assist large organizations - including FTSE 100, Fortune 500 and CAC40 clients - in their most critical transformations. Our key objectives are to align cybersecurity strategies with client priorities and organizational goals; support top management in achieving their security targets through pragmatic solutions; and foster a culture of security awareness and proactive risk management across the organization. You will be responsible for delivering pragmatic and agile cybersecurity strategies that align client priorities and support top management in achieving their security target on 3 different types of engagements:

  • Innovate for our clients, partners, and employees; Identity and access management, IT and OT cybersecurity convergence, IoT security & product security office, Third party risk management, etc. 
  • Protect our clients; Security principles & architecture definition, cloud & API, SOC & Fusion Centers definition & sourcing, Industrial plant cyber security, Incident response, resilience & crisis management, etc. 
  • Ensure operational excellence; Cybersecurity and/or operational resilience convergence, Strategy & roadmap, Risk management & compliance, Program development & management, etc. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead workstreams and small engagements autonomously, managing priorities, risks, resources, and deliverables while ensuring high-quality output from both themselves and their teams.
  • Provide expert-driven recommendations, applying deep subject-matter knowledge, conducting strong qualitative analysis, and staying current on market and industry trends.
  • Communicate with clarity and confidence, facilitating client meetings, presenting results effectively, and building trusted relationships with stakeholders.
  • Develop and mentor junior team members, sharing expertise, giving constructive feedback, and fostering growth across Analysts and Consultants.
  • Contribute to Wavestone’s growth, proactively supporting business development, nurturing client relationships, spotting new opportunities, and participating in marketing, content creation, and internal initiatives.
     

We are recruiting across several levels of seniority between Senior Consultant, Manager and Senior Manager.

  • 5+ years’ experience in external client-facing consulting or equivalent role (IT, management, or cybersecurity focused consulting)  
  • Bachelor’s degree in business management, engineering, economics, or other analytical majors
  • Cybersecurity expertise in a functional, sector, or technical area with the ability to make informed recommendations.
  • Experience leading a workstream or small engagement independently, managing priorities, risks, and resources.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to present results confidently to clients.
  • Track record of supporting junior talent development and contributing to business development (account planning, pitches, proposals, value proposition development) or internal initiatives.
  • Skills to create and deliver meaningful presentations with an impact and produce high quality reports 
  • Comprehensive knowledge of at least 4 of the below Cybersecurity and/or Operational Resilience topics:  
    • Cyber Security NIST Maturity
    • Security Governance, Risk, and Controls (including assurance, awareness and training)  
    • Cyber Risk/Threat Assessment
    • Regulatory Compliance
    • Data Protection & Privacy  
    • Data Leakage Prevention  
    • Identity & Access Management  
    • Incident response and Threat intelligence  
    • Cloud security & Zero Trust  
    • Operational Resilience & Crisis Management 
    • Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity  
    • Third party management and Exit Strategy 
    • Network security

Travel and Location
This full-time position is based in our New York office. You must reside or be willing to relocate within commutable distance to the office.
