We’re looking for a Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to lead cloud and application security initiatives across our infrastructure, with a strong focus on Microsoft Azure. You’ll be the go-to expert for secure architecture, vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and CI/CD pipeline protection. πŸ› οΈ What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead cybersecurity operations in collaboration with the Director of Cloud Engineering, Security, and Compliance.
  • Design, implement, and manage security measures for Azure-hosted applications and infrastructure.
  • Conduct penetration testing (applications, networks, cloud), using tools like OWASP ZAP, Kali Linux, Nmap.
  • Analyze vulnerabilities and apply remediation actions using tools such as OpenVAS, CVE feeds, SonarQube, Tenable.
  • Deploy and manage security tools: Microsoft Defender, Azure Sentinel, Zscaler, GitHub Advanced Security.
  • Embed security into DevOps pipelines (CI/CD) using GitHub, Jenkins, Docker.
  • Perform forensic investigations and support disaster recovery planning.
  • Lead Recovery and Containment Strategies across Azure environments.
  • Monitor environments using SIEM (Microsoft Sentinel) and EDR tools (SentinelOne).
  • Develop security policies aligned with NIST, ISO 27001, NIST CSF.
  • Provide audit evidence and security reporting for internal and external stakeholders.

βœ… What You Need to Succeed

Must-haves

  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity roles, including cloud security and DevSecOps.
  • Proven leadership in end-to-end security initiatives for Azure-based systems.
  • Proficiency in:
    • Azure Security Center, Microsoft Defender XDR, Azure AD
    • GitHub, Jenkins, Docker, Cloudflare
    • Kali Linux, Linux, Windows, CI/CD pipelines
    • IAM, WAF, threat intelligence, risk assessment
  • Certifications (any of the following): OSCP, CISSP, Security+, CEH.
  • Experience with security frameworks and compliance (e.g., NIST 800-53, FAIR).
  • Bonus: familiarity with Jira, Confluence, hardware device testing.
