The Senior Cybersecurity Engineer/Architect/Professional will support EU institutional IT environments in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure infrastructure and systems.

The role requires hands-on technical expertise across enterprise security architecture, network security, cloud security, monitoring, and incident response in complex, highly regulated environments.

The consultant will operate within multi-vendor, multi-cloud, and hybrid infrastructure ecosystems.

Requirements

  1. Minimum 5 years of proven professional experience in cybersecurity, information security, or IT security roles

  2. Strong understanding of:

    • Network security

    • Security architecture

    • Risk management frameworks

    • Incident response

    • EU data protection principles

  3. Experience in complex enterprise or public-sector environments

  4. Open to freelance work (includes remote flexibility)

  5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

  6. Ability to work independently and deliver within strict deadlines

  7. Proven Cyber Security expertise and certifications with documented proof
