The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Support Engineer to join our team, focusing on our newly launched cybersecurity offerings based on Palo Alto Networks. The successful candidate will play a key role driving deployment and configuration, as well as providing advanced technical support, and liaising with both customers and Palo Alto’s consulting teams to ensure smooth implementation and customer satisfaction. This is a dynamic role for a professional with a strong background in cybersecurity who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver implementations of security solutions aligned with customer requirements.
• Deliver expert technical support to customers using Palo Alto cybersecurity products.
• Work closely with internal engineering and product teams to resolve technical issues and drive service improvements.
• Serve as a technical interface to Palo Alto Networks consultants for escalations and advanced solution planning.
• Support configuration, fine-tuning, and troubleshooting of security appliances.
• Maintain detailed documentation and technical knowledge base articles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Proven experience in cybersecurity engineering roles, with a focus on technical support and solution implementation.
• Strong understanding of network security concepts, including firewalls, VPNs, intrusion prevention, and threat mitigation.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with Palo Alto’s cloud management tools, including Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
• Palo Alto Networks certifications such as:
• Certified Network Security Engineer (PCNSE)
• Network Security Professional
• Next-Generation Firewall Engineer

Great to have

·       Experience in operating and supporting maritime deployments

·       Familiarity with SaaS models and application lifecycle management.

·       Experience working in industries with high-security and regulatory requirements.
