Cyber Security Engineer – WAF (F5 ASM / Advanced WAF)

Drive the implementation and optimization of F5 WAF solutions while ensuring robust application security and effective incident handling.

Important Information

Location: Singapore

REQUIREMENTS

Strong hands-on F5 WAF (ASM / Advanced WAF) implementation including policy creation, signature tuning, attack mitigation, go-live support and optimization
WAF engineering beyond monitoring, including SSL offloading, LTM integration, reverse proxy architecture and false-positive reduction
Application security hardening experience with strong knowledge of OWASP Top 10, bot protection and API protection
End-to-end deployment ownership from POC to production rollout including coordination with application and network teams
Incident handling and attack mitigation for web-based threats including misconfigurations and zero-day exploit adjustments
Strong networking knowledge (L3/L4/L7), load balancing, traffic flow analysis and SSL/TLS configuration
Unix/Linux knowledge and basic scripting for troubleshooting and log analysis
F5 certifications (101/201/301/401) preferred
Self-driven, able to work independently, strong stakeholder collaboration
