Job Title: Customer Support Advisor

You’ll be required to work from our head office in Wigston, Leicester a minimum of 2 days per week. The remainder of your working hours will be undertaken from home.

Starting salary: £23,000 pa

Hours per week: 35 Hours (Flexible Options) (Available between 8am – 6pm)

About the role

The Customer Service team at IOSH thrive on putting the customer at the heart of all that we do.

 Reporting to the Team Leader, the Customer Service Centre Advisor is the first point of contact to our customers via multiple channel types such as Email, Telephone, Digital and through the delivery of outbound campaigns, supporting them with their prime needs whilst collaborating with our internal and external stakeholders.

What you'll bring

We are looking for candidates with previous customer service experience within an office-based customer contract centre environment dealing with customer queries proficiently over the phone, via email and webchat.  

You will also need to demonstrate personal resilience and work independently whilst handling telephone complaints and remain calm whilst working under pressure. You will have excellent communication skills, the ability to prioritise a busy workload and demonstrate providing great customer experiences.

Essential Criteria:

  • Experience of working in customer service environment
  • Experience of working in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience of time management and organisation skills with the ability to multi – task and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines.
  • Administration experience
