About the Role
We’re looking for a Lifecycle Marketing Manager to lead how Attentive engages, retains, and grows our customer base across every stage of the lifecycle—from onboarding through upsell and advocacy. In this role, you’ll own the strategy, direction, and execution for lifecycle marketing programs that help customers realize value faster, adopt new products, deepen their partnership with Attentive, and ultimately stay and grow with us.

You’ll guide our customer engagement strategy by designing high-impact lifecycle campaigns and touchpoints rooted in customer data and insights. A key part of this role is working closely with our Senior Customer Marketing Specialist to prioritize, plan, and execute incoming lifecycle and customer communication requests across email and UI touchpoints, ensuring work is aligned to business goals and scaled effectively. Partnering closely with Product Marketing, Content, Customer Education, Customer Success, Events, and Marketing Operations and Analytics, you’ll turn insights into programs that drive retention, expansion, and long-term customer value.

What You’ll Accomplish

Lifecycle Strategy & Program Ownership

  • Own the end-to-end lifecycle marketing strategy from onboarding through upsell, renewal, and advocacy.
  • Define priorities and roadmap for lifecycle initiatives, balancing proactive programs with incoming support requests.
  • Partner closely with the Senior Customer Marketing Specialist to translate strategy into execution and ensure timely delivery of lifecycle campaigns.

CRM, Segmentation & Execution Enablement

  • Own email strategy and calendar across teams, providing guidance and direction on one-time and automated communications.
  • Own audience segmentation and communication frequency using customer data and insights.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary lifecycle marketing partner to Product Marketing, Content, Customer Education, Customer Success, Events, and Marketing Operations and Analytics.
  • Intake, assess, and prioritize lifecycle-related requests from cross-functional partners in collaboration with the Senior Customer Marketing Specialist.
  • Align lifecycle programs with product launches, go-to-market motions, and retention and advocacy initiatives.

Measurement, Testing & Optimization

  • Define success metrics for lifecycle programs and evaluate impact against retention and expansion goals.
  • Analyze performance, share insights with stakeholders, and guide optimization and experimentation.
  • Continuously test, iterate, and evolve lifecycle programs to improve effectiveness and scalability.

Your Expertise

  • Experience: 5+ years of experience in lifecycle marketing, growth marketing, or a related role, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • Lifecycle Leadership: Proven ability to own lifecycle strategy while partnering closely with execution-focused teammates to deliver results.
  • Operational Strength: Experience prioritizing workstreams, managing intake, and balancing strategic initiatives with ad hoc support needs.
  • Technical Proficiency: Advanced experience with marketing automation and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Salesforce).
  • Segmentation & Orchestration: Strong understanding of audience strategy, lifecycle journeys, and cross-channel orchestration.
  • Collaboration: Excellent cross-functional communication skills with the ability to influence without direct authority.

You'll get competitive perks and benefits, from health & wellness to equity, to help you bring your best self to work.
