The Role  

Are you ready to lead the charge in shaping the future of crypto in Australia? This senior leadership role is all about driving strategic growth and commercial success for our crypto exchange business. As the face of Pepperstone Crypto in Australia you’ll define go-to-market strategies build a high-performing team and forge strong relationships with clients partners and regulators.

This role leads the commercial arm, with a strong focus on revenue generation, market expansion and client-centric innovation. This role calls for a deep understanding of the crypto and digital asset ecosystem combined with strong commercial acumen and the ability to navigate a rapidly changing regulatory and competitive landscape. We’re looking for a leader who can balance strategic vision with hands-on execution ensuring the business stays agile compliant and relentlessly focused on the customer.

As our Crypto Commercial Lead for Australia, your key responsibilities include, but may not be limited to:

  • Lead commercial strategy and operations for Pepperstone Crypto in Australia aligning with global objectives to drive local revenue growth
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to execute the commercial plan including sales structures processes and technology enhancements
  • Drive user growth strategies and campaigns while growing a strong base of VIP and OTC clients
  • Represent Pepperstone Crypto at local and international events and provide insights to executive stakeholders
  • Build and lead a high-performing team fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement

About You

  • 5+ years in senior business development and sales within financial technology including 3+ years in a senior crypto commercial role
  • Deep expertise in the Crypto Exchange and Digital Asset industry with strong commercial acumen
  • Proven success in building and leading commercial functions ideally from the ground up
  • Strong leadership communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence at all levels
  • A passion for innovation adaptability and living The Pepperstone Way
  • Postgraduate qualifications in Business, Economics or Project Management (desirable)
  • Comfortable working in fast-paced, evolving environments with shifting priorities.
