We’re looking for a CRM Executive to join our Subscriptions team, working closely with Customer Insight and Analytics to deliver impactful digital customer communications in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.

In this role, you’ll use customer data and analytics tools to execute our CRM strategy. This includes managing email campaigns, driving testing and optimisation, and supporting technical CRM capabilities. Your focus will be on delivering measurable improvements in customer engagement, transactions, lifetime value and incremental revenue.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day delivery of digital customer communications (with a focus on email) within Subscriptions acquisition and retention, with scope to work across editorial, commerce and advertising campaigns.
  • Build detailed data workflows within the Adobe Campaign platform, working with complex sets of data and customer segmentation.
  • Monitor and respond to new marketing and testing briefs for the CRM team.
  • Translate data briefs from stakeholders into audience selection criteria within our database.
  • Liaise with stakeholder teams to coordinate proofing and approval of creative assets.
  • Create and optimise key customer lifecycle automations.
  • Monitor active campaigns, problem-solve, and proactively identify areas for improvement.
  • Report on CRM activity and highlight opportunities to stakeholders and the wider business.
  • Effectively manage relationships with internal stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Ensure best practice marketing and data compliance principles are adhered to.

Requirements

  • Experience in a CRM or Marketing entry-level position, managing the deployment of simultaneous email marketing campaigns for a large or complex audience.
  • Passionate about driving insights through data and looking for ways to improve/optimise processes.
  • Experience with customer profiling and segmentation, with an understanding of database structures in order to manipulate data for email campaigns.
  • Understanding of operational reporting & analysis, with experience reporting on email or other marketing campaign metrics.
  • Understanding of key principles behind email deliverability.
  • Awareness of data compliance laws and updates, including GDPR and PECR.
  • Excellent organisation and time-management skills.
  • Ability to prioritise effectively within a fast-paced environment.
  • Laser-sharp attention to detail.
