This role plays a crucial part in optimizing marketing efforts through effective use of HubSpot's data and analytics tools while aiding the sales team in data-driven decision-making.

We are looking for a talented and highly analytical individual with a keen interest in marketing to join our award-winning eCommerce agency as a CRM Data Executive.

This role is to be based at our Stockton-on-Tees HQ!

In this exciting position, you will play a crucial role in driving data-based decision-making and optimising our marketing efforts for our Demand Generation/Brand and New Business Sales team, through the effective use of HubSpot's data and analytics tools.

Given the commercial focus of this role, you will primarily report to the Director of Sales, with a secondary report to our Head of Brand Marketing.

What you will be doing:

  • Integrity and Quality (Data Management): Maintain the accuracy and integrity of customer and prospect data within HubSpot by monitoring data collection processes, identifying data gaps and inconsistencies, and taking ownership of the required corrective actions to create clean, well-organised and accessible prospect and client data for the commercial teams to use. Develop and maintain data governance practices and standards for both teams.
  • Data Analysis and Strategy Development: Collect, analyse, and interpret data from HubSpot's marketing tools, including contacts, leads, campaigns, and customer interactions. Identify trends, patterns, and insights to guide marketing strategies and initiatives for both our Demand Generation/Brand team and our New Business Sales team. Provide advice on data acquisition strategies and contact communication preferences and create the required set-up for this in Hubspot.
  • Lead Generation: Research and identify potential new customers for Visualsoft, syncing new leads to HubSpot, and categorising based on industry, size, and potential in order to segment for relevant targeted marketing. Maintaining our SimilarWeb tool, maximising monthly data credits, and refreshing target lists and TAMs.
  • Inbound Lead Qualification: Review and analyse inbound leads to determine their potential for conversion, prioritising high-quality prospects for the sales team to contact and identifying MAL’s and MQL’s to enter targeted marketing nurture cycles.
  • Segmentation and Targeting: Utilise HubSpot's segmentation capabilities to identify and define target audiences based on customer demographics, behaviours, and preferences. Working closely with both teams, to develop personalised and targeted marketing campaigns (including HubsSpot sequence campaigns), insights and data to effectively engage and convert prospective clients.
  • Sales Pipeline Management: Tracking the sales pipeline and ensuring leads are moving through the sales funnel correctly and with relevant data at each stage, and own any gaps
  • Reporting and Dashboards: Develop and maintain regular reports and dashboards to track marketing performance metrics such as conversion rates, lead generation, campaign effectiveness, and customer engagement. Present findings to key stakeholders in the Demand Generation/Brand team, as well as the New Business Sales team, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Performance Optimisation: Collaborate with both the Demand Generation and Sales teams to identify joint opportunities for optimisation across various marketing channels, including email marketing, social media, content marketing, and lead nurturing. Use data-driven insights to improve campaign targeting, messaging, and overall performance for both teams.
  • A/B Testing: Design and execute A/B tests to evaluate the impact of different marketing strategies and tactics. Analyse test results and provide recommendations for improvements based on statistical significance and business objectives for both teams.
  • Industry Research: Stay up to date with the latest data trends and best practices in marketing analytics, including emerging tools and techniques. Provide insights and recommendations for incorporating new data sources or analytics technologies into our marketing strategies for both the Demand Generation/Brand team and the New Business Sales team.
  • CRM Training and Onboarding: Assist in the delivery of training on HubSpot and SimilarWeb to new sales team members and ensure they understand the importance of maintaining accurate customer data.
