About the team

Amartha is actively expanding its digital risk management team as part of our strategic focus on digital transformation in 2026. We are looking to strengthen our capabilities in managing digital lending risks to support our growing portfolio of digital financial products. To this end, we are currently seeking a talented individual to join our team as Credit Risk Intern. This role will play an essential role to support the digital risk management team in providing accurate and timely credit risk portfolio reports, ensuring that we continue to provide secure and effective financial solutions to our customers while mitigating potential risks in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Provide and update regular credit risk reports to ensure portfolio monitoring and management performed effectively.
  • Support the risk analyst with data and/or analysis to support regular or adhoc portfolio deep dive.
  • Assess any changes in business strategy and overall processes to determine the impact to credit performance while proposing necessary actions to manage the risk if necessary.
  • Working with other teams to manage risk-related projects including projects with 3rd parties, while keeping user journey and needs in mind.
  • Conduct quantitative and qualitative analysis either planned or on an ad hoc basis, alone or with a data team, to answer credit risk issues.

Requirements

  • Pursuing Bachelor’s Degree in quantitative field such as Statistics/Math/Finance/Business Management in 3rd or 4th year of study.
  • Experienced in creating senior-level presentations materials, and complex, yet clear reports.
  • ⁠Proficient in data manipulation and analysis using Google Sheets (Excel) and SQL.
  • Python skills would be considered a plus.
  • Fluent in both Bahasa Indonesia and English
