Position Overview

The Credit Manager will be directly responsible for the Credit Policy and the day-to-day management of the credit portfolio P&L, focusing on executing and optimizing the credit vertical’s economic results. This role will monitor all P&L components (revenue and expenses), using data-driven insights to manage risk-return trade-offs and deliver consistent financial performance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Credit Policy Management: Lead the development, review, and implementation of credit policies. Focus on balancing origination growth with delinquency control to maximize direct contribution.
  • Strategy Execution: Implement tactical plans to achieve budget and investor expectations. Ensure alignment of growth objectives across Personal (PF) and Business (PJ) products, including credit cards and personal loans.
  • Model Implementation & Partnership: Collaborate closely with the Data Science team to co-develop and deploy credit risk models. Ensure models align with credit policies and the organization’s risk appetite while maintaining long-term stability.
  • P&L Management & Monitoring: Track the financial health of the credit portfolio, analyzing P&L drivers to ensure the business meets its economic targets.
  • Operational Continuous Improvement: Identify and execute initiatives to improve operational efficiency, such as process automation and the reduction of low-value-added tasks.
  • Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead the Credit Policy team, ensuring the high-quality execution of tasks and fostering a culture of technical excellence and accountability.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Products, Finance, Collections, and BI to ensure credit strategies are integrated across the customer lifecycle and aligned with organizational goals.

Requirements

  • Experience: Proven experience as a Credit Manager, Senior Specialist, or similar tactical leadership role.
  • Profile: A "hands-on" professional who enjoys deep-diving into data while maintaining a business-oriented mindset.
  • Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of the full credit cycle (segmentation, eligibility, A/B testing, scoring, and portfolio indicators).
  • Analytical Rigor: Proficiency in creating financial spreadsheets and translating complex data into tactical and executive-level presentations.
  • Model Savvy: Strong ability to interpret, review, and challenge statistical models from a business perspective.
  • Technical Stack: Hands-on experience with programming for data analysis (SQL, Databricks).
  • Education: BSc in Accounting, Economics, Engineering, Finance, or a related quantitative field.
