Accountabilities 

  • Oversee the formal delivery and execution of Credit and Treasury policies in strict alignment with Global guidelines and governance.
  • Request for proper authorization to release orders when they are blocked, according to current Credit policy.
  • Generate standard reports and support month end closing process activities. Such reports include Collection received, payment / statement conciliation, payments pending identification.
  • Generate adhoc reports as requested by function.
  • Keep a proactive follow up agenda with customers to follow up on collection and upcoming payments.
  • Perform internal controls and keep the required documentation and evidence in line with auditing requirements.
  • Execute operational activities behind financial tools or financial solutions set in place.
  • Productive reach out to other areas (accounting, treasury, compliance, legal, etc.) to ensure proper execution of collection activities.
  • Proactively support the Credit and Treasury Management functions for Andean countries (Colombia, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Venezuela) through collection, follow up and general customers’ accounts reconciliation and cash flow management.
  • Provide support in the production of analysis reports, charts, and presentations.
  • Constantly seek opportunities to automate operation processes and if required, lead and perform follow up of the enhancement process, focal point for other support areas.
  • Execute release of held orders in line with proper approval process.
  • Perform effective and assertive interactions with key stakeholders like customers, sales representatives and sales managers.

Required  

  • Accounting and/or financial background is required (accounting, banking, financial industry, and/or insurance).
  • At least 3 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Experience in credit, collection, payables, treasury and accounting management activities. Third parties or intercompany transactions.
  • Advanced skills to manage databases and basic financial information to perform analysis and recommend actions. Strong Excel, Power BI (desirable) and database analysis skills.
  • Organization and planning in keeping key activities up to date in a timely manner.
  • Advanced skills to manage financial databases and show strong analytical capabilities to perform analysis and recommend actions.
  • Upper intermediate English level.
  • Positive attitude regarding customer (internal and external) service.
  • Clear and assertive communication skills to speak up and raise hand when issues or alarms are detected.
  • Ability and confidence to speak up and raise hand when issues or alarms are detected.
  • Experience working with ERP - SAP (desirable).
