Credit Associate

• Proactively manage escalations and funding blockers, delivering clear guidance on credit and compliance.
• Execute and refine credit underwriting processes to onboard new clients using real-time data analytics.
• Evaluate complex client-payor relationships by reviewing contracts and analyzing financial statements.
• Develop and maintain robust risk management for credit monitoring, tax compliance, and invoice verification.
• Leverage advanced analytics to identify emerging risk trends and optimize portfolio management.

Requirements

• 3+ years’ experience in credit/underwriting roles (factoring, invoice financing, or commercial lending) with small businesses in North America.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, engineering, law, or a related field.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with case management systems (e.g., Salesforce).
• Strong understanding of small business documentation (lien registrations, bank documents, government filings) with an eye for discrepancies.
• A self-starter with excellent problem-solving skills, adaptability, and uncompromising integrity.
• Bonus: Experience in asset-based lending and/or factoring is a plus.
