Credit Analyst with German

We are looking for an experienced Credit Analyst to support a global financial organization operating across European markets. In this role, you will assess corporate credit risk, monitor financial exposure, and partner with sales and business teams to ensure safe and effective portfolio management across Central Europe, the Nordics, and the Benelux region.

This position is ideal for professionals who understand financial statements, enjoy analytical problem-solving, and want to develop their expertise in a truly international setting.

YOU WILL

• Conduct credit risk assessments of corporate clients across multiple European markets.
• Analyze financial statements (balance sheets, P&L, cash flow) and prepare credit recommendations.
• Manage an assigned portfolio of clients and monitor their financial performance.
• Collaborate closely with Sales and other internal stakeholders to support informed business decisions.
• Participate in improving credit processes, analytical tools, and decision frameworks.
• Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and risk guidelines.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the credit function.

Requirements

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Management, or related fields.
• At least 2 years of independent experience in credit analysis or financial risk assessment.
• Strong understanding of credit analysis principles and financial ratios.
• Ability to work confidently with financial statements and large datasets.
• Very good command of English and German (written and spoken) for documentation review and recommendation preparation.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
• Analytical mindset and strong decision-making skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with business and sales teams.
