EcoVadis

Creative Manager

TLDR

Lead and elevate a diverse team to execute a new global brand identity while overseeing creative output and operational excellence across markets.

After 19 years of success, EcoVadis is at a pivotal inflection point. Within marketing, we are transitioning from a legacy market leader to a high-growth "scale-up" culture. We have a bold new brand identity awaiting rollout, a fresh leadership team, and an ambitious roadmap to upgrade our digital products and global presence.

We are looking for a Creative Manager to act as the "engine room" of this transformation. This is not a "head-down" design role. You are the Conductor of our creative output. You will lead a diverse team of internal and external talent, ensuring that our new brand is executed with absolute consistency across every touchpoint - from our web visual upgrade to localized assets in Japan. You will have the autonomy to build your own workflow, the authority to manage a global team, and a Director who wants solutions, not problems.

The Role

Your success is not measured by the files you design, but by the excellence of the work your team produces and the efficiency of the systems you build. You will spend your time overseeing creative output, managing high-level stakeholders and navigating cross-functional silos - while continuously refining how work gets done. This includes developing scalable, templated approaches where appropriate, and leveraging AI and emerging tools to accelerate production, unlock new creative possibilities, and ensure consistently high standards across every touchpoint.

1. Creative Oversight & Brand Guardianship (70%)

  • The Conductor: Manage the daily output of 7 designers. You will provide the "steer" and creative critique that elevates their work from good to world-class.
  • Brand Rollout: Own the implementation of our new brand identity. You will ensure the "visual soul" of the brand remains intact across digital products, social assets, and physical events.
  • Global Integration: Oversee our localized content engine. You will manage a "follow the sun" workflow, ensuring our Japan-based and Middle East resources are aligned with the core brand logic.
  • Asset Evolution: Move the studio toward a "Design System" mindset - building smart templates and libraries that allow the team to work with speed without sacrificing quality.

2. Operational Diplomacy & Leadership (30%)

  • Stakeholder Management: Act as the "Shield" for the design team. You will interface with VPs and Sales Leads, ensuring they are educated on the briefing process and that "urgent" requests are balanced against business priorities.
  • Silo-Busting: Build a functional, collaborative bridge with our Content Team. You will advocate for a "Wireframe-First" workflow to end the cycle of "copy-dumping" and last-minute design panics.
  • Talent Strategy: You will have the authority to shape your team. You will vet, mentor, and - when necessary - refresh our contractor pool to ensure we have the best talent in every seat.

Who You Are

  • A Reformed Designer: You come from a strong design background (Digital/UI/Brand), but you now find more satisfaction in leadership and strategy than in being "on the tools."
  • A Systems Thinker: You are obsessed with how a brief moves from an idea to a finished asset and how to make that journey faster and better.
  • A Diplomatic Enforcer: You have the "Executive Presence" to sit in a room with a VP of Growth or a legacy Sales Lead and hold your ground with professional charm and data-driven logic.
  • A Global Manager: You are comfortable managing remote, asynchronous teams and understand the cultural nuances of localized content.
  • Experience: 6+ years in a design/creative role, with at least 2+ years in a Lead or Management capacity (Agency or In-house).
  • Technical Literacy: Expert-level understanding of the Adobe Creative Suite and Figma. Proficiency in Wrike (or similar PM tools) and G-Suite is essential. Strong AI literacy, with hands-on experience using AI-powered creative and productivity tools to enhance workflows, accelerate output, and explore new creative possibilities.
  • The "Finishers" Mindset: A proven track record of rolling out large-scale brand identities across multiple platforms (Web, Social, Print).
  • Start date: ASAP
  • Internal job title: Creative Lead
  • Hybrid role

In return for your expertise, we offer:

  • Support with all the necessary office and IT equipment
  • Flexible working hours
  • Wellness allowance for mental and physical wellbeing
  • Access to professional mental health support
  • Referral bonus policy
  • Learning and development
  • Sustainability events and community involvement
  • Peer recognition program
  • Employee-led resource groups
  • Optional (fully covered or co-financed) health care and life insurance
  • Multisport card
  • Multikafeteria
  • Lunch card
  • Hybrid work organization
  • Remote work from abroad policy
  • Internet and Electricity bill allowance
  • Additional day for community service when volunteering
