The Creative Designer will serve as the primary point of contact for all design, branding, copywriting, and social media, at Viamericas. This role goes beyond making things look appealing, it’s about creating content that connects with our employees, customers, and partners, while strengthening the Viamericas brand. Reporting to the Digital Marketing Manager, the Creative Designer will handle everything from designing graphics for campaigns to writing content for social media and websites that elevate our brand presence. This person will also manage the Marketing Help-Desk – Design Request (ticketing system), making sure marketing materials are created and delivered efficiently.
Duties and responsibilities
Collaborate on Viamericas’ visual identity, helping ensuring consistency across all digital and physical materials.
Design social media graphics, digital ads, and other creative assets that fit our branding and messaging, aligning to the Viamericas’ brand book.
Write compelling copy, from captions to longer-form content, for social media, e-mail marketing, promotional campaigns, landing pages, and other corporate communications.
Manage the Marketing Help-desk – design request system, ensuring projects move smoothly from requests to final delivery (delivering the design requests).
Propose creative solutions for communicating product or service launches, as well as new features to end-users, through emails, text messages, in-app messages, and pop-ups.
Work closely with the marketing team to refine designs and copy based on brief and feedback.
Strengthen and maintain a consistent Viamericas brand presence across all digital and social media channels.
Stay ahead of trends in social media, content marketing, and design, bringing fresh ideas to the table.
Plan, execute, and optimize Google and Facebook Ads campaigns, ensuring effective targeting and performance tracking.
Information Security Responsibilities
Read, acknowledge and comply with Viamericas Staff Information Security Policy via the Information Security training portal. This should be done within 30 days of hire and repeated annually.
Attend periodic Information Security training provided by Viamericas’.
Report any event that might be an Information Security Incident: clicked on a malicious link, downloaded and opened a suspicious file, etc
Qualifications
Bilingual English/Spanish
BA/BS in Graphic Design / Communications preferred.
Minimum 5 years working experience as a visual content creator, and with proven graphic design and copywriting skills (portfolio required), in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Advanced proficiency in visual design software, such as Adobe Creative Suite’s Illustrator, Photoshop, XD, Figma.
Knowledge of programming languages such as HTML and JavaScript would be advantageous.
Exceptional creative abilities as reflected in original visual designs.
Proficiency in keeping up with visual design technologies and industry trends.
Strong writing and proofreading skills in English and Spanish are essential; impeccable spelling, grammar, punctuation.

Working Conditions
General office working conditions. Some travel (foreign and domestic) is required.
