Creative & Atlassian Jira Project Manager (Freelance) (m/f/d)

The role

HelloFresh is seeking a Creative & Atlassian Jira Project Manager to join our Creative Operations team in our in-house agency. In this role, you’ll lead one of our key operational initiatives: the One-Jira Board Project. You will oversee both internal and external agency teams to design and implement a new Atlassian Jira setup that fully supports and reflects our creative processes and governance standards. This role will act as the vital link between our creative governance frameworks and the tool, ensuring Jira embodies our creative guardrails and process guidance. The ideal candidate is passionate about creative workflows and tools, thrives in fast-paced environments, and has strong expertise in Atlassian Jira Service Management and Software. You'll play a critical role in driving creative tech innovation and operational efficiency, ensuring our systems and processes empower our creative teams to deliver their best work.

What you’ll do

• Be the main Lead for the One-Jira Board Project, managing both Internal teams and External agencies across the entire project lifecycle, tracking business process requirements and identifying optimization opportunities for the new Jira setup.
• Own the Testing Phase of the project, from planning and defining key success KPIs to overseeing test execution, reporting results, and driving a successful deployment and launch of the new Jira platform across the business.
• Ensuring the new Jira setup consistently reflects the established Creative Governance.
• Development and enforcement of various Jira system usage guidelines through auditing and recurring monitoring with user groups.
• Liaise between Global and Local teams, IT, and other cross-functional teams using Jira, leading Training Sessions, and capturing input and feedback to continuously optimize our tech setup.
• Perform on-going assessment of current state, needs analysis, and vendor sourcing
• Exercise critical thinking in navigating cross-functional processes and risk resolution

What you’ll bring

• 3+ years of experience in a Creative and/or Tech Project Management role, working with cross-functional teams across multiple markets.
• Proven ability to successfully manage and deliver complex, multi-level projects within Tech and Creative environments, balancing scope, time, quality, and risk to achieve project goals.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to navigate and manage conflicting feedback, align diverse perspectives, and confidently influence difficult stakeholders toward a common goal
• Advanced expertise with Atlassian Jira Service Management and Software, with a strong understanding of its application within Creative environments.
• Excellent organizational skills, capable of managing multiple priorities without losing sight of key objectives.
• Ability to stay focused under pressure and effectively manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Highly detail-oriented, organized, self-motivated, and an excellent communicator.
• Comfortable managing relationships and communications with external agencies and partners.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English for effective interaction with internal and external stakeholders.
