ROLE PURPOSE 

We are seeking a driven and scientifically curious CPD Intern based in Pietermaritzburg to contribute to the development and evaluation of innovative crop protection solutions through hands-on field activities. This role is crucial for enhancing Syngenta's product pipeline by assisting with the execution and data collection of field trials. CRITICAL KNOWLEDGE AND EDUCATION REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in Agriculture (B.Sc. Agriculture or B. Agric)
  • Have strong academic performance and motivation 
  • Valid Driving license
  • Proficiency in data analysis, and MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Strong language skills (Afrikaans and English).
  • Agriculture understanding/exposure is beneficial for technical understanding.
