Team Description

Coupang's amazing services, such as rocket delivery and e-commerce innovation, are based on world-class IT and must be able to accommodate various Infrastructures and operate stably. The DC Infra Engineering team performs strategic planning, design, construction, maintenance operation, supply chain management, and consulting to maintain the highest quality and uninterrupted operation of Coupang's Data Center Infrastructure.

Role Overview

Perform mission-critical tasks and maintain maximum availability for uninterrupted operations within Coupang's core IT technology-intensive Data Center Infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performing domestic and overseas DC selection, design, construction, operation, expansion, and improvement work
• Perform mission-critical work for non-stop operation of DC Infra (Power, Cooling, Rack, and DC Facility)
• Manage DC Infra global standardization and SLA/SOP/EOP
• Manage NRC/MRC contracts and resources, assets, vendors
• Respond to certification, assessment, testing, preventive maintenance operation and management
• Domestic & overseas DC supply research and operation consulting
• Technical cooperation and response related to electricity, mechanics, fire, EHS, and security

Basic Qualifications:

• Possesses construction/operation management skills for DC Infra (electrical, mechanical, fire, etc.)
• Experience in leading DC build projects and cooperating with stakeholders
• Experience in establishing and standardizing/automating annual maintenance plans
• Experience in establishing and monitoring/changing Data Center 24*365 operation system
• Experience in measuring operational quality and managing indicators
• Experience in improving DC resource management and optimization
• AutoCAD, CFD, BMS, and DCIM proficiency preferred
• English communication and office documentation and presentation skills.
• Those with no grounds for disqualification from domestic/overseas business trips

Preferred Qualifications:

• Preference is given to those with related professional qualifications (air conditioning and refrigeration mechanical engineer, electrician or higher, etc.)
• DC build and operation in large-scale DC and commercial DC providers
• Possesses a level of knowledge capable of domestic and overseas DC consulting
• Ability to establish and audit BCP and DR
• Understanding of Server, Storage, Network, and IT domains and experience in providing Infrastructure services
