Position Summary

We are seeking a highly entrepreneurial and results-driven Country Sales Executive to be our first hire in Malaysia. This is a "founder" role in spirit. You will be responsible for building Dashlabs.ai's presence from the ground up, with full P&L responsibility.

You will define and execute the go-to-market strategy, acquire our first flagship customers, build strategic partnerships, and lay the operational foundation for our long-term success. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker, a hands-on operator, and a natural sales leader who is excited by the challenge of building a business from zero to one.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and execute the complete business plan and GTM strategy for launching Dashlabs.ai in Malaysia.

  • Sales & Business Development: Act as the primary sales leader. Identify target customers, build a robust sales pipeline, lead negotiations, and personally close our first key accounts to drive initial revenue.

  • Operational Setup: Manage all administrative and operational aspects of establishing our Malaysian presence, including [e.g., entity registration, finding a co-working space, managing local vendors].

  • Market Localization: Adapt our product, pricing, and marketing collateral to fit the specific needs, language, and culture of the Malaysian market.

  • Brand Building & Partnerships: Be the public face of Dashlabs.ai in Malaysia. Build relationships with key industry players, government bodies, and potential channel partners.

  • Feedback Loop: Act as the primary liaison between the Malaysian market and our global HQ, providing critical feedback to our product, marketing, and leadership teams.

  • Team Building (Future): As the business scales, you will be responsible for recruiting, hiring, and mentoring the founding Malaysian team.

Required:

  • Experience: Experience in a senior B2B role (e.g., Business Development, Sales, General Management), preferably within the Startup, SaaS, HealthTech, Healthcare sector.

  • Entrepreneurial Spirit: A "founder's mentality" with a proven track record of building new initiatives, territories, or businesses from scratch.

  • Local Market Expert: Deep understanding of the Malaysian business culture, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment.

  • Sales Acumen: A natural seller and negotiator with a history of exceeding revenue targets. You must be comfortable making cold calls, running demos, and closing C-level deals.

  • Autonomy: A self-starter who can operate with a high degree of autonomy and ambiguity. You are a problem-solver by nature.

  • Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Language: Professional fluency in both English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential.

Preferred (Nice-to-Have):

  • Experience in a high-growth tech startup.

  • An existing network of contacts within the healthcare industry (eg., clinics and laboratories) in Malaysia.
