What brings us together is our focus on reliability, sustainability, and clean energy. We have been awarded “Best Charging Network” in the UK, France, Switzerland and the Netherlands, underlining Fastned’s position as a leading player in the field. This is your opportunity to make a meaningful and lasting impact.

Your role

As Head of Denmark, you will guide Fastned’s growth and operations in Denmark. Reporting to Francoise, our COO, you will shape and implement the local strategy, ensure smooth and effective operations, and represent Fastned externally. This is a key leadership role, offering the opportunity to further develop Fastned’s network and brand in Denmark. You will work with a high degree of trust and responsibility, making this an attractive position for an experienced leader who enjoys collaborating across functions and cultures in a dynamic, international environment.

Your responsibilities

  • Develop and implement Fastned’s strategy for Denmark, aligning it with our European vision and tailoring it to local market needs.

  • Identify and nurture new business opportunities, partnerships, and growth initiatives to strengthen Fastned’s position in the Danish market.

  • Act as Fastned’s local representative, building our presence and reputation with government bodies, industry stakeholders, and media.

  • Oversee the full network expansion process and safeguard high standards of station performance, customer experience, and operational reliability.

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with public authorities, suppliers, and key partners, and contribute to public advocacy for EV infrastructure.

  • Lead, support, and develop a motivated local team, fostering an inclusive culture of collaboration, learning, and open communication, while ensuring close alignment with central/global functions.

  • Take responsibility for the Danish P&L, combining healthy growth with thoughtful cost management, and shape local pricing and business strategies.

  • Work closely with commercial teams to grow our customer base and enhance brand visibility through local marketing and community-focused initiatives.

Who we are looking for

You might be a great fit for this role if you recognize yourself in many of the points below (it’s okay if you don’t tick every single box):

  • 5–7+ years of experience in operations, business development, or general management, ideally in an international, fast-changing or scale-up environment.

  • Experience in leading and developing teams and in managing complex projects or business areas.

  • Experience working with external stakeholders such as public authorities, landlords, and business partners.

  • Sound commercial understanding and experience managing budgets and financial performance.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; fluency in Danish and English is required.

  • A strategic mindset combined with a practical, hands-on approach, and a genuine motivation to contribute to sustainability and innovation.
