Main Purpose of the Role Welocalize is looking for an English into Corsican freelance translator and proofreader with experience in the field of Marketing, UI and Product/Service related documents for an ongoing translation and proofreading project for a leading multinational technology company.  This is an on-going freelance and remote position.  Project Details Location: Remote Expected Volume: Approximately 500 to 1,000 words per week Employment Type: Freelance/Independent Contract Task type: Translation and Copy-Editing Content types: Marketing, Products, Online Help, Informational CAT Tool: Client specific CAT tool (training provided) REQUIREMENTS

Native or near‑native proficiency in Corsican (Corsu) with excellent command of US English

Proven experience translating English to Corsican content

2+ years of professional translation experience with a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or a related field
OR

5+ years of professional translation experience without a formal translation degree

Demonstrated experience translating informational, marketing, product, service, online help, and UI content

Experience using CAT tools 

Strong understanding of marketing tone, brand voice, and customer‑facing communication

Excellent attention to detail, terminological consistency, and linguistic accuracy

Ability to deliver high‑quality translations while meeting deadlines

Flexible, reliable, and responsive in a fast‑paced localization environment

Strong communication skills and openness to feedback and revisions
