Your Mission

Nuvei is looking for a Corporate Paralegal to join our global Corporate Legal Team. The ideal candidate will bring a minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law and possess a resourceful, autonomous, and efficient approach to their work. A strong aptitude for organization is essential, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain order in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The successful candidate will be comfortable working both independently and collaboratively, and be capable of handling several matters within tight deadlines. This role involves regular interaction with board members, committee members and senior management.

Qualifications

  • Law Degree or Diploma in Paralegal Studies (or an equivalent certification).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ relevant experience in an international law firm or in-house within a multinational organization (or across Asia-Pacific or European markets).
  • Experience working with senior management and board members.
  • Excellent proficiency in English, both oral and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Experience with corporate database and board management solutions, notably DiliTrust and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Curiosity about corporate law and a willingness to continuously learn and develop new skills.

Requirements

  • Planning, attending and coordination of board and committee meetings.
  • Leading in the preparation of legal documentation for the various boards across the organization, including agendas, minutes, and provides support on other corporate secretarial matters.
  • Draft and review corporate documents such as resolutions, minutes, and incorporation documents.
  • Prepare documents related to corporate and tax reorganizations.
  • Collaborate on the creation and maintenance of model resolutions, delegations, and standard legal documents.
  • Review and manage corporate records for entities within the Nuvei group structure.
  • Organize and maintain corporate records, files, and registrations.
  • Support with corporate filings, such as business name registrations, annual filings, obtaining certificates of good standing.
  • In collaboration with the Compliance Team, assisting with regulatory filings and KYC requests.
